Hello there! It’s so nice to meet you!

I’m a homeschool mom and wife. You can usually find me on the back porch of our Southern Virginia home with my nose in a book or a crochet hook in my hand.

I love, love, love to read. I enjoy a good story that pulls me in and makes me feel like I’m right there with the characters. The best books are the ones you start to miss once you get to the last page.

However, I find it too difficult to read a book full of errors, and I never make it to the end.

That’s why I decided to become a proofreader. I want to help writers get their stories across to their readers as smoothly as possible. I want readers to enjoy reading and keep coming back for more. I have a passion for helping others.

While I love my roles as a mom, wife, homeschool teacher, and household manager, I still feel the need to do something just for me. Since I love reading (and can quickly spot errors) I figured I could also add to the family finances by doing something I love. Not only am I reading for my career, but I also help others in their career, too. It’s a win-win!
