Books have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Some of my sweetest memories growing up are of sitting with my mom while she read to me, her voice bringing the stories to life. That love of reading planted something deep in me—a belief that words are a gift.
But even as a little girl, I noticed how much a small mistake could pull me out of a story. A typo, a missing comma, a sentence that didn’t quite make sense; suddenly, instead of being absorbed in the words, I was distracted. I didn’t know it then, but that little quirk of noticing errors would one day become a calling.
Over time, I realized that words are not just about stories—they are about trust. For authors, small businesses, nonprofits, coaches, and leaders, every word you publish is a reflection of your heart and your mission. A careless error can chip away at that trust, while clarity and accuracy can open doors, invite readers in, and point people toward what really matters.
