Transcript Proofreading Rates: The rates below refer to no audio, double-spaced, 25-line PDF legal transcripts.
Rates for over 25 lines are listed below.
Weekends are included in turnaround times; however, some holidays may affect these times. (See below.)
I proofread for errors in punctuation, spelling, grammar, and formatting according to your preferences.

Technical/Medical Transcripts: add $10/page
Messy Transcripts (many errors per page):* add $0.10/page
*If you’ve fully scoped the transcript and run spellcheck, you won’t have to worry about a messy transcript upcharge.
The following do not count as business days:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Day After Thanksgiving (Black Friday)
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
- Day after Christmas Day
- New Year’s Eve
- New Year’s Day
Invoicing:
- Invoices are billed through Wave.
- For first-time clients, you’ll be invoiced after the first transcript is complete.
- For regular clients, you’ll be invoiced the first week of the following month for the previous month’s work.
- Invoices are due within 15 days* via credit card, bank payment, Apple Pay, or PayPal.
- *I reserve the right to add late fees to invoices that are not paid on time.
